PRESS RELEASE
The conference entitled: ‘BEYOND THEORIES OF WEATHER MODIFICATION – civil society versus geoengineering’ which took place in the European Parliament on April 8- 9, 2012, under the patronage of MEP Tatjana ZDANOKA in cooperation with a European civic platform SKYGUARD and former MEP Giulietto CHIESA, presented evidence that:
- For over a decade Europe has been subjected to massive clandestine aerosol spraying, for purposes that can only be guessed at, but are often assumed to include attempted mitigation of an officially identified global warming/climate change problem and/or facilitation of the operations of HAARP and HAARP-related activities such as those of MUOS in
- These actions are being implemented outside of any legal framework, national or international, without the knowledge or informed consent of the population, and in violation of the most elementary precautionary principles.
- The consequences of these actions for peoples’ health and life on the planet are incalculable;
- National governments, which have the duty of authorizing the use of national airspace for these ends, deny that these actions are taking place.
- Institutionalized denial of obvious facts that violate fundamental human rights (the right to health, to security, to physical and psychical integrity) leaves citizens totally defenseless.
In the fourteen years since the European Parliament has adopted the report on The Environment, Security and Foreign Policy which demanded detailed investigation of conclusions on military experiments carrying out in the atmosphere, the total silence on the matter was preserved.
The proposals and recommendations of this extensive report to the Commission and to member states are clear and specific. Amongst them we might cite the call to conduct a detailed study of security-related threats to the environment in
We subscribe to all these demands and urge that they be taken with utmost seriousness.
The time has come for this Parliament to make up for those fourteen years of silence and start to defend the rights to health, security, and integrity of European citizens that are proclaimed in international agreements, including the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union.

The participants of the conference believe that the time has come to open a public debate on these issues, establishing a EP Committee of Inquiry willing and able to investigate the monstrous realities we have outlined, taking a first step towards ending European citizens’ defenselessness.
