I think the photo is genuine, but the notice might not have been written by London Transport staff – anyone can write on these boards. We Brits have a sick sense of humour, as you know from the stuff I send out!! I think it is bad that the mentality is now “well, if the lives of hundreds of Londoners MIGHT be at risk, with no clear evidence, it’s best to shoot first.” This seems to be supported by John Stalker, a former police chief, who wrote a controversial report on a “Shoot to Kill” policy used in North Ireland in the 80’s:www.manchesteronline…
