Media Boycott

Letter I sent to various media e-mail addresses. It was the (London) Times today that did it. ==== Dear Sir/Madam, It is with regret and sadness that I must now formally announce my Boycotting of all regular media output. This includes all prime-time news broadcasts, mainstream news journals and outlets. This has been brought on by an increasing trend in the media whereby the reporting factual elements of stories has been supplanted by the reporting of unsubstantiated claims which have not been given a proper analysis before being broadcast to/published for the nation. The worst recent example of this was the blaming of the 7th July Bombings on Muslim suicide bombers without enough evidence to support this claim. Today’s front page of The Times – once one of the most trusted news sources in the world – featured “no news”. The majority of the space was taken up with 2 stories 1) The Inevitable Avian Flu – a story which has virtually no substance and involves a tiny number of people. 2) Who would be the new James Bond (a fantasy character, lest we forget). Whilst irrelevances and baseless claims are reported freely and uncritically by almost all the regular media, factual stories which are easy to check, and are of the greatest importance to our freedom and security, languish on web sites and message boards run by people who have found out certain truths, realised their importance and are now quietly forming their own “media networks”. This has happened due to the unwillingness and inability of the regular media to deal with these truths accurately and appropriately. Formal Complaints about this to the BBC and ITC have gone unanswered. An example of one of these truths can be found here: homepage.ntlworld.co… I am advising all my interested friends of my action and I will be encouraging them to do the same. Please check the evidence and facts, then report them – please? Yours Sincerely, Andrew Johnson — No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Anti-Virus.
