When the BBC is seriously posing questions like this on its website:newsforums.bbc.co.uk… ‘torture’ evidence be admissible? Are the Law Lords right to rule out using ‘torture’ evidence?Evidence that may have been obtained by torture in other countries cannot be used against UK terror suspects, the Law Lords have ruled. The ruling means the home secretary will have to review all cases where evidence from other countries may have been obtained in this way. What do you think of the Lords ruling? What does this mean for the government’s anti-terror programme? How important are the rights of terror suspects? What a simply dreadful state of affairs that some people at the BBC should even contemplate posting such a question – or is it just me?
