(1) I’ll be on Coast to Coast with George Noory on Thanksgiving night, the 23rd. Catch it if you’re not in a coma induced by food or football–or both!. (2) On Monday the 27th at 8:00 pm E/P, the Starchild will be part of the National Geographic’s “Is It Real?” cable TV series. The episode is “Ancient Astronauts.” (3) In the last update I asked you all to please go to the Starchild website, www.starchildproject…, and put your email addresses on a “notify” list we’re accumulating to show publishers our community is interested in the book I’ve written about the Starchild. Of the 2000 on this mailing list, not quite 200 of you asked to be notified. Remember, being on the list does NOT obligate you to buy the book, so please go to the home page and click on the cartoon eyeglasses in the upper left corner, then follow the simple instructions. It’s important. (4) I’ve written a new 5000 word essay about Intervention Theory that is posted on my personal website, www.lloydpye.com. It’s one of the best pieces I’ve ever done, and the feedback from it has been great. It’s very informative and easy to read. (5) Some observations about the National Geographic show — The NG channel is not carried as widely as Discover or SciFi, so if you can’t get it where you are (Amy and I can’t), have a friend tape it and send it to you. And if you miss the debut, it will repeat regularly, so eventually you can see it if you want to. If you do watch it, keep in mind that shows like this are in business to set us up and knock us down. The deal we all make is that they provide us with national coverage of our subjects (whether ghosts or vampires or bigfoot or the Starchild skull), while we give them something “weird” to hold up to ridicule to one degree or another. Whatever they say to dismiss the skull as irrelevant and of no concern, we will post our answer to it within a day or two at most. At this point we have no idea what they will say to be dismissive, but we do know it won’t have any real merit. This is just the way the game is played. They know it and we know it.
