Our conference will take place on 3rd and 4th May 2008 in Liverpool, we have given it the name, Beyond Knowledge,as we think that the title sufficiently reflects the broad base of speakers. So far, the confirmed speakers for the Conference are: David Hatcher-Childress Kenn Thomas Marcus Allen Michael Tsarion Jerry E Smith Ian Crane Ellis Taylor We are also interested in contacting other speakers who may be interested. Although the principal focus of Conference is the group of speakers, we intend to run a number of workshops, art exhibitions and musical events for delegates and participants alike to enjoy. We see this as a truly cultural event. This is even though Liverpool’s City Council has decided that it is not worthy of any financial support as part of the European Capital of Culture Year, 2008. (However, this allows us to to be truly independent – something that we will stress in our forthcoming local publicity campaign). We also intend to publicise the Conference nationally and interentionally, through advertising and a website.
