Extraterrestial aliens and the events of 9/11 Elias Davidsson, 22 May 2008 According to a document released by the British Ministry of Defence, a 78-year-old man allegedly met an extraterrestrial alien beside Basingstoke Canal in Aldershot, Hampshire in 1983. Other documents released by the Ministry include accounts of strange lights in the sky and unexplained objects being spotted by the public, armed forces and police officers. One man explained in great detail his “physical and psychic contact” with green aliens since he was a child. The writer said that one of them, called Algar, was killed in 1981 by another race of beings as he was about to make contact with the UK government. The letter’s author said he visited their bases in the Wirral and Cheshire, while his wife reported seeing a UFO shot down over Wallasey on Merseyside. Most of us balk at such accounts because they cannot be verified and because they appear contrary to common sense and physical law. We generally dismiss those who believe such stories as harmless nutcases. It is puzzling therefore that many people who view UFO believers with disdain engage in essentially similar, irrational conduct by espousing unverified stories that defy common sense and physical law. Thus, many people have accepted without question the myth according to which 19 Arabs hijacked four aircraft on September 11, 2001 and sacrified their lives to Allah in a collective suicide operation that killed approximately 3,000 people. This myth has become for such people an article of faith. It does not bother these ‘faithful’ that the alleged hijackers were physically incapable of overcoming experienced Vietnam veterans on the aircraft and of flying those aircraft with pinpoint accuracy to their targets, and that they did not display the psychological disposition of suicide bombers nor their supposed religious fervor. It does not bother the ‘faithful’ that high-rise, steel-reinforced buildings do not collapse at free-fall speed, as was the case with the Twin Towers and also with 47-storey WTC7 that fell later in the day on September 11, 2001, unless helped by explosives placed at critical locations within the buildings. It does not bother the ‘faithful’ that there is no evidence whatsoever that any of the 19 Arabs actually boarded the aircraft they allegedly had hijacked. Believers do not bother with facts and do not care about rational thinking. What distinguishes these believers from those who believe in the Almighty God, is that the believers in the 9/11 official myth have replaced God with the US Administration as the source of the Word. The main difference between fringe groups who believe in extraterrestrial aliens and the community of those faithful to the official 9/11 myth is that the former have neither endangered anyone nor committed any crimes, while the latter believe that their new religion justifies the mass murder of innocents in Afghanistan and Iraq (euphemistically called “military operations against terrorists”). Those who believe in the official 9/11 myth represent, therefore, a dangerous, quasi-religious cult that directly threatens global peace. Their role in today’s world is equivalent to those who, in Nazi Germany, endorsed and promoted the blood libel that Jews were conspiring to enslave the German nation and must therefore be annihilated. It follows that those committed to peace and justice must not only denounce the aforementioned religious cult as a threat to society, but also ensure that any further promotion of the official 9/11 myth is outlawed on account of its harmful consequences.
