A friend has mentioned that there was an error in this summary it should have read “none of the suspects were convicted“. The BBC’s reportage is interesting – headlining: ‘Astonishment’ at terror verdicts Were people astonished that the jury detected that there was no evidence to show these people were planning to bomb planes? Perhaps next they will charge someone who has a sneezing fit for sounding like “small explosives going off which could frighten people” and therefore they could be classed as a terrorist?
