I said that it must be a plane about 2 miles out due the fact that there is a no fly zone over Stonehenge during the Solstice.   About 15 minutes later , we are now in Stonehenge with about 30.000 others waiting to see if the Sun would show through the clouds, no joy, and then I saw the lights again moving much slower this time, and they just STOPPED in mid air and stayed there, rock steady, no wobble are movement in any direction.   I then realised that it was a U.A.V that had been in the local papers, Unmanned Air surveillance Vehicle and it was just sitting there about 100 feet away and about 200 feet up with 2 very bright LED Red and Green lights showing, with nothing around it, very difficult to judge the height. I then watched this flying machine for the next 2 hrs and realised that it was smaller than I thought, about 2 ft to 3 feet across with four blades and all electric, no noise at all.   This thing can sit over your head while you are having a chat and you have no idea that it is even there. the police just stood around until this thing found something that it did not like, then, all the police had to do, walk under it as it hovered and they got there man, saw this happen right in front of us.   One time it came down to about 10 feet over the road and stayed rock solid steady, the only way I think this could happen is to have a GPS lock system, you want it to hover, it stopped, locks GPS and now it sits there, not very big, no noise with a camera or mike so that it could even listen to you   I think the pack that runs this thing for about 45 minutes would be no bigger than 2 phone chargers put together with hardly any bodywork to worry about.   Busty Taylor
