I have received a few messages of feedback on the Buzz Aldrin clip. Here is the link to the clip again: www.youtube.com/watc… For myself, I hadn’t remembered hearing about the Monolith on Phobos – I even suspected Aldrin might be mentioning that in order to distract from my “favourite” mars photo, the dome (on image strip ida.wr.usgs.gov/html…) Here is a page about the monolith… palermoproject.com/M… Other comments I received… Interesting. I suppose, as usual, one of these four possibilities (or more) 1) It slipped out 2) He meant to say it, against “orders” 3) He said it under “orders”. 4) He’s gone mental It is interesting how he looks off camera after he says it, and then says “the universe put it there”, or “God put it there”, so as to not seem to be suggesting that somebody else did! But that might have been intentional as well, who knows?! I also read that he is a 33rd level Mason. Wonder what connection that has to it all… hmm…. Those Masons certainly are proud of it, too! tl2k.org/astronauts…. He is not saying anything new although he is a hig profile person actually openly calling it a monolith. So maybe he was told to make a big deal out of it. At 0.33 he looks down at a script? It does look staged…Trying to stop us finding out that he never went to the Moon, and at the same time making Mars seem more exiting…?
