Dear Andrew, yes I did read your post about the “fear agenda”. But to my judgement the spent fuel rods probably have been thrown out of their water basins and are now in danger of overheating and igniting. Locally at Fukushima I hope they can gather as much as possible of that material and subject it to cooling again. Maybe they can carry several large hangars or maybe empty oil tankers (bottom up) there by ship and put it on top of most of the location to create a containment similar to the sarcophagus at Chernobyl. Globally I think everyone should store food and purchase water filters and maybe air filters, basic medication etc. It maybe responsible to try not to create panik, but keeping the world informed will save lives, too, and after all acknowledges free will.
