exactly ten years ago (during 9-11) Hurricane Erin grazed the eastern shore of the USA beside New York.This year, ABC NEWS (sexy 3D weather analysis below) is predicting that Hurricane Irene will pass directly over Atlantic City before passing directly over the Empire State Building in Manhattan. The warning hype is growing in intensity faster than the storm is. Now we’re being warned that this could be the storm of the century, or something like that. First we were told that it was going to clobber North Carolina. Now we’re told that it’s going to hit Wall Street. Oh, yeah. And it’ll be a Category Four when it does. Really,now. I’ve been monitoring this thing day and night and sometimes it is so disorganized that there are pieces of it all over the ocean. It has actually lost wind speed. Once it was top winds near 120mph. Now, it’s top winds near 115mph. It lost its eye and got it back and lost it again and now I see another eye. For a while, anyway. The NHC discussion board reported this at 1700hrs: >> IN ABOUT 48 HOURS…SOUTHWESTERLY SHEAR IS FORECAST TO INCREASE…WHICH SHOULD START A WEAKENING PROCESS. Psy-Ops or not, let your imagination play with the idea of a Katrina-style storm on Wall Street. Ben Bernanke is in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. No known connection,but… a fun idea to ponder on. Seriously, this is playing out like a psy-ops. Wind speeds may be exaggerated. They certainly were when Ike hit the Texas coast in ’08. An alternative explanation for all the fear porn that’s loading up the weather reports. If you’re on the coast, it’s still a good idea to be prepared.
