WHAT AN INCREDIBLE WEEK THIS HAS BEEN! Eight days ago I sent a Byte like this announcing my stunning diagnosis of aggressive B-cell lymphoma cancer, which was posted to Facebook the next day, followed by a Youtube video on Sunday. In all of those messages I asked for help to fight back against my tumor because I could not begin to pay for any serious course of treatment outside the U.S. My goal then, as now, was to avoid high-dose chemotherapy if at all possible. The response has been outstanding! Nearly 1000 people have chipped in with large and small donations to bring us close to the brink of having all that we need to cover the costs of this trip and this special therapy. Only a few more days should see us achieve what we need, and I have no doubt that this will end up as a successful campaign. I am immensely grateful for that very high level of support from so many people, most of whom I don’t actually know. With the donations came a huge outpouring of well-meant advice giving me alternative options and urging me to at all costs avoid chemotherapy. As it happens, I was already aware that better options existed, but I also learned that for me, for my case, low-dose chemotherapy is unavoidable. The reason is my tumor’s large size (5″ by 4″ two weeks ago) and the high speed at which aggressive lymphomas grow. Nothing else will arrest such growth like chemo, but it doesn’t have to be internally damaging high-dose. Low dose can work just as well if used in conjunction with “high heat” therapy to enhance it. Most people in the U.S. are totally unaware of the great value of high body heat in treating cancer. Heat can often kill it, but certainly will debilitate it, so that other forms of less-stressful therapy can become effective against it. This is my goal, this is how I had always felt I would treat a cancer if I ever got it, and now that it’s happened I’m following through with my plan. Also, let me say that I was already well aware of the treatment possibilities of cannibis oil, of Gerson Therapy, of Dr. Burzynski in Houston, of Dr. Gonzalez in New York, of the value of baking soda and turmeric, and now I am aware of two or three dozen other treatment modalities that people have asked me to consider. I want to thank all of you for your concern and insights about those treatments. I have quite a file on all of them now! Unfortunately, they just don’t work fast enough to deal with where my tumor growth is right now. WHAT IS MY CHOSEN TREATMENT SCHEDULE? For me, for my particular situation and cancer, I have chosen to follow an “alternative” path toward recovery. On Monday, July 29, I will fly to London to stay at the home of my long-time friend and Starchild Skull supporter, Belinda McKenzie. On Monday, August 5th, I will check into Klinik Marinus in Brannenburg, Germany. I will be there for three weeks of intensive therapy, followed by several weeks back in London doing “aftercare” treatments. If, at that point, I am doing well, I will return here to my home in early October. But I will not return until Klinik Marinus gives me the “all-clear” to do so. The whole point of the treatment is to, first, arrest the tumor’s rapid growth, and second, begin the process of shrinking it down and, if possible, away. As might be expected, I have to make serious changes in my curreat meat-eating diet, over to being mostly vegetarian, which I think I can handle without too much stress. And, of course, I have to take certain vitamins and supplements and special anti-cancer neutraceuticals to continue the fight for as long as is necessary to achieve complete remission of this tumor, and to make sure it, or anything like it, never appears in my body again. I will be blogging this experience on my Facebook fan page rather than here on Bytes of Pye, which will soon be switched over to a Starchild newsletter that I won’t be engaged in at all times, as has been the case up to now. I must hand that responsibility over to others whom you’ll meet soon when they contact you through this medium to announce their plans for it. Another important point to make is that in the past week I’ve been BOMBED with emails, pushing up toward 2,000 now, which has been simply impossible to deal with along with everything else this past week has thrown at me. So to those who wrote to me offering advice and encouragement but did not hear back from me, please know it wasn’t from lack of will or effort on my part, it was a lack of time and nothing else. My time is no longer entirely my own, as I’m sure you all can understand and relate to. Lastly, and most importantly, I want to sincerely thank ALL of you for not only your ourpourings of sympathy and good wishes, but also to those who donated money and did not hear back from me in any direct way. I’ve tried hard to keep those “misses” to a minimum, but I’m sure I did not get to all of you. For those I did miss, please know that it was inadvertent and not specific to you. I profoundly appreciate every bit of help I’ve been given. I couldn’t be moving forward on this very hope-filled path without you! This is necessary for only a few more days, so keep that in mind. We’re almost there! Thank you! This message was sent to ad.johnson@ntlworld…. from: Starchild Project
