The first 2 programmes weren’t really up to much – as they centred around samples of hair which did not have provenance associated with a particular sighting of a creature, or seemed to be associated with sightings of a bear. However, last nights programme was a little different – when they went to Russia The episode also showed this phone video from taken by 3 school boys in 2011 – www.dailymail.co.uk/… siberiantimes.com/we… It’s an interesting video and they only asked the inevitable question “could it have been hoax?” They did not show any video from creatures in the USA or from Tibet or the Himalaya’s. They also researched the story of the “Wild Woman” – Zana who was captured by villagers and she was held prisoner – and she even gave birth to children. www.bigfootencounter… The DNA of Zana’s descendant’s was collected and tested, as was a tooth from Khvitt’s skull – the results were indeed unusual – in that the DNA matched that from sub-saharan African tribes – and Brian Sykes (the genetecist) had no real explanation as to how she got to that part Russia – although they thought it could have been through the slave trade. Bryan Sykes, the genetescist, took an interest in Khvit’s skull found it had very unusual features (which is clear) but he talked about “an older race of humans” – but he did not go into specifics really. A “shame” they did not spend time on this part of the investigation rahter than wasting time on discussion of Russian celebtiry politicians and travelogues.
