This series was very poor indeed. No mention of the Patterson-Gimlin film, even though Paul Vella’s recent research on it calls into question the “confession” of one of the perpetrators. Zana and the Almasty shouldn’t have been covered in the same series because the Almasty is human whereas Yeti and Bogfoot etc are definitely not. The series could have headed for Australia and studied the Yowie instead. Bryan Sykes, the genetescist, took an interest in Khvit’s skull found it had very unusual features (which is clear) but he talked about “an older race of humans” – but he did not go into specifics really. A “shame” they did not spend time on this part of the investigation rahter than wasting time on discussion of Russian celebtiry politicians and travelogues.
