If a under inflated tire heated up then the air inside would expand, effectively inflating it, even to a point in which it could rupture. If a fire did break out in the cockpit I believe that the pilots would have enough time to alert air traffic before it could destroy instrumentation. The parts regarding loss of cabin pressure, I don’t think this could happen as cabin pressure is maintained by the engine, air pressure is bled from the compressor, however if the cabin had a hole in it then I doubt that the compressor bleed would be able to cope with the mass of air escaping. I really do wonder what has happened to flight MH370 if it did indeed crash into water there would be lots of buoyant objects on the surface, such as seats, luggage, food packages, shelving and aircraft insulation, non of this has been found. If it did crash into the ocean then Lets hope that they find the flight data and voice recorders. I believe the ACARS and engines had battery backup. Not to mention the black boxes had backup power. Ed
