Hi BenI would concur that LIHOP is a marginally better position to take than accepting the official story, but an intelligent person such as Vidal would surely have considered the notion of MIHOP and researched it; after all, isn’t that that how we have got here? I myself went through stages of unravelling the 9/11 story, as did, no doubt, many others back in the day. As I recall, I first listened to David Ray Griffin on Electric Politics with George Kenney, then Ray McGovern, Graeme MacQueen, Kevin Ryan, then started looking at Richard Gage lectures on youtube, then ‘9/11 mysteries’ DVD, then ‘loose change’ on youtube, then stumbled across Checktheevidence and started chatting online with Andrew, which led to Dr. Judy Wood, watched Richplanet TV, saw Benthejrporter… and here we are. It’s not rocket science, just a series of logical steps. No, I don’t see Vidal et al as ‘failures’, but at the end of the day, what is their public persona worth if they aren’t prepared to ‘go the distance’ in pursuit of the truth? And when it comes to age, just as with the classic ‘death bed confession’, surely, is this not the one and only time to come clean and say what you mean? What could Hitchens have done? I’d rather go down screaming the truth with my middle fingers raised firmly in the air than cowering under the influence of some establishment attack dog.
