Thanks Ben,That’s certainly one approach that I hadn’t thought of. I was initially thinking of possible ways to try to measure the frequency, wavelength and intensity of the energy being transmitted. With all the talk of the dangers inherent from phone base stations within the home, the potential of smart meters to cause ill health etc. I wanted to know if it was possible to monitor what this thing is putting out at various times. The school itself does not have Wifi but I am concerned at the proximity of this thing. We are at perhaps the highest point in Sheffield but there is a sizeable cemetery just down the road. Maybe it seems distasteful but it would surely be safer to place the tower there rather than bathing vulnerable developing minds in WiFi soup. However, I’ll look at this with interest.
