Well, in my experience, a rational explanation of such things tends to present itself in time….it’s probably just dust on the lens….that appeared for a second….then blew away again….as it does….or perhaps we’re seeing a stray bin bag a-blowin’ in the Martian wind. Was it ‘bin day’ on Mars when this image was taken do we know?
