With apologies… I’m sure it’s ‘just me’ and I’m acutely aware that I am ‘over-sensitive’ to these things but I was immediately drawn to today’s Google Doodle featuring the 127th Birthday of the seismologist Inge Lehmann. Inge Lehmann – Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia       Inge Lehmann – Wikipedia, the free encyclopediaInge Lehmann ForMemRS (May 13, 1888 – February 21, 1993), was a Danish seismologist who discovered the Earth’s inner core.[2][3] In 1936 she postulat…View on en.wikipedia.orgPreview by Yahoo I am constantly surprised at the frequency with which these less-than-well-known-and-little-taught-at-school figures pop up into the mainstream consciousness via Google Doodles within days of a relevant ‘happening’ or when the topic is being vigorously discussed amongst the relatively enlightened and conscious alternative community (people who are still able to think) In the aftermath of the Nepal quakes, I wonder what Google is trying to say here? I notice that ‘Hollywood’ is about to issue a burp in the form of the blockbuster film entitled ‘San Andreas’ on 29/05/15…Hmmm.. I think I may have answered my own question..
