EM Drive – Cover Up?

This was forwarded to me by Richard D Hall ============================================== Hi Richard, There was a concerted effort to try and suppress information about David Shawyer’s EM Drive (which you probably know has now been proven to work) in 2006. There are a few things indicating that there may have been a conspiracy: New Scientist published a feature on the Drive and shortly afterwards a Sci-Fi writer called Greg Egan published an open letter decrying the article and the Drive and urging readers to complain. Other scientists rubbished the invention and there was an unsuccessful attempt to wipe information from Wikipedia. My suspicions were strengthened by the noticeably strident tone of some of the detractors who were trying to remove this invention from public view. Now that we know the device works some of the claims being made at the time seem almost comical. I’ve attached a few links in case you or Andrew Johnson want to follow this up. Cheers en.wikipedia.org/wik… Comments on the letter and EM Drive theory by these scientists: golem.ph.utexas.edu/… ml www.emdrive.com/
