Cindy has pointed out the following: “It’s interesting that there have been 5 hurricanes [one a tropical storm] named erin, when most names appear only once or twice as hurricanes. When you do a search for “hurricane erin”, the first link that comes up is the 1995 version, and many links later you may find a reference to Dr Judy – so presumably the matter can be dismissed by association, or something. I believe naming 5 storms Erin was intended to muddy the waters and bury the 2001 storm in confusion … the last Erin was in 2013! It would not be surprising if storms will continue to be named Erin for a long while.”
