Recently, someone sent me a link to a YouTube episode of a 1960’s series called “One Step Beyond” – the series is based on dramatizations of incidents involving psychic phenomena. At least one episode was written by Rod Serling (The Time Factor). Another interesting episode called “Emergency Only” also has a surprise ending and is well written and well-acted. As the series features mainly dramatizations, I was surprised to find an episode where the host, John Newland, samples some “sacred mushroom” under the supervision of none other than Andreja Puharich! I have a feeling that Carl James referenced this episode somewhere in one of his talks, but I can’t remember which one!
