Recently, I was sent a 23-minute video by Bernadette Ellis, which I wasn’t aware of. It starts off with a quote from Werner Von Braun. Later, we see 2 (former) NASA personnel discussing how they were advising Kubrick regarding some content of 2001 (start at 4:40 )
Arthur C Clarke is also shown at the Grumman plant, where the Lunar Excrusion Module is being built. It’s an interesting video – illustrating what appears to be quite strong links between the 2001 film/movie, Kubrick, NASA, Wernher Von Braun and Arthur C Clarke, just as Carl James points out in his book (free PDF download).
