From Reading, Pennsylvania: My adopted (retired show champion) Pharaoh Hound arrived here six years ago with an anti-theft tattoo AND a microchip. A recent check at the Humane Society shelter showed that his microchip had “migrated” more than 12 ” from his neck/shoulder area halfway down his spine! Chips are infamous for moving, something the chip promoters never mention…wonder if a “wandering chip” could cause injury or death if it hit a critical spot in the body???Of course, chipped people could easily be “terminated” before that even happened, so….no worries—-:<()
