Orwell feared those who would deprive us of information. Huxley feared those who would give us so much that we would be reduced to passivity and egoism. Orwell feared that the truth would be concealed from us. Huxley feared the truth would be drowned in a sea of irrelevance. Orwell feared we would become a captive culture. Huxley feared we would become a trivial culture, preoccupied with some equivalent of the feelies, the orgy porgy, and the centrifugal bumblepuppy. Huxley feared that what we love will ruin us.” I checked out all my photos from the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s as I grew up under a fly-route near Kristianstad in south Sweden. Found none trails on any photos up until 1 June 1986 over a lake up north (70 km). Then another at Midsummer the same year over Linkoping (350 km north). There were none trails on any of my photos in 1982 from several places in USA which today is wellknown to have lots of them, though an american lady said she’d seen them all the time all her life (she’s born 1961). I doubt that as I spent three weeks there and it was beautiful weather, so if they did some testings back then it can’t have been something common. Would be great if everyone could check out their old photos and see when the trails start to occur. I didn’t really “see” them until 2006 when we saw a few rainbow-trails. That was too weird.
