Attachments : New Formation! Easton Royal,Wiltshire,UK,Barley Crop. 200ft approx. Discovered 12th June 2007. We discovered this formation today, while on route to the Milk Hill formation of the 07.06.07. It appears that the formation is at least two or three days old (maybe more), as the crop can be seen to be recovering quite well.
This is a very unusual design and the fine lines that mark-out the large containing ring are very narrow indeed. This formation reminds me of a bird in flight with up-turned wings and fanned out tail feathers – reminiscent of ancient Mayan (or similar) design-style. Rather beautiful.
