Thanks for the comments sent so far!   “Even those bloggers etc who realised in the second half of 2012 that nothing was going to happen, and ‘moved the goalposts’ by changing their forecast to something like ‘there will be a major shift in human empathy with the cosmos’, or a ‘change in social consciousness’ or something similar, got that wrong too.”Not sure this chap quite gets what was intended by the consciousness thing to be honest – isn’t that just what the New Agers interpreted it as years ago? I don’t see it as something “new” at all. And as for a “global awakening” – Brezinski has spoke at the CFR about concern amongst the elites regarding “mankind’s political awakening” so perhaps he knows something this chap doesn’t (and maybe he’s missed the huge protests which have swept many countries too)?It’s a very uncharitable and patronising message for 2013 (“recesses of their weird minds”?
